Taking You Time

Be it in the bath with a mountain of bubbles, reading a book in bed or going for a stroll – find your outlet, find your way of making all those day to day life dilemmas just fall away.  It isn’t always easy to find the time to take out of your day to be selfish, but we are all worth it, right?

Saying No, Not Today

Saying 'no' can sometimes be a lot harder to say than we think, especially when it might be our friends we're saying it to. But when it comes to our own well being, saying 'no' to plans, people and situations that make you feel anxious and allowing time instead for yourself makes all the difference! You have to love yourself first.

Absolute Goals

Set yourself a list of goals, short-term or long-term whatever works for you, but nothing too crazy though! Make these goals DO ABLE. The point of your goals is to give you vision, something personal and beneficial to you, that you can work towards and most importantly achieve!
Write them down, stay focused on each goal and each step it takes to get to that goal. Take it day by day and you’ll be ticking them off in no time.

Are You Busy?

  

Taking some time for yourself is at the core of self-care practices and your well being journey, but this doesn’t always mean ridin’ solo. Sometimes the best pick me up there is, is a date with your bestie, catching up with your favourite people in your favourite places or shopping? That’s why we call it retail therapy right? Surrounding yourself with people who love you is a great way to unwind and you're almost guaranteed to laugh out loud!

You Do You, Boo

Do something for yourself, book a girls trip, start the gym, try that hobby you’ve been meaning to try, treat yourself to that pair of shoes you haven’t stopped thinking about. If you wanna do it, DO IT! Channel the things you truly love and have a passion for into actual physical activities that can allow you to focus on the task at hand and escape; even just for a moment. Giving yourself something to look forward to, something to work towards.

We all know that some weeks life can just get rather over whelming and quite frankly feels like we are carrying the world on our shoulders – literally! But just take a step back - from the chaos of your day to day life to be present in that moment, to notice your own feelings and thoughts and to see the world around you in that moment. To focus on the immediate now, even just for a few moments.
